Pigeon in Our Parlour is the studio of a mixed-media artist who turns vintage treasures, found objects and imagination into layered works of art.
The work spans altered books, assemblage, collage and digital art, as well as hand-crafted art dolls and one-of-a-kind pieces for the studio's store.
Each piece begins with a story — a vintage photograph, a weathered book, a forgotten object — and grows into something new. The studio's name, Pigeon in Our Parlour, reflects a love of the unexpected: the small, overlooked things that, given attention, become remarkable.
